When using a red dot it does not really improve the accuracy as it does making you more accurate via the red dot. I find with weapons with bad iron sights(F2000 Ect.)it makes me more accurate because i have a better time looking down the sight. So i would agree with you when saying that a red dot sight would increase your accuracy on various weapons.
